Since Statistics for Education was founded in 1990 we have built up considerable experience in handling information (especially statistics) from various sources and creating tools for presenting data in electronic formats. In the process we have established a network of partners with relevant research, programming and design skills that we can draw upon for our own projects and to undertake contract work for other organisations.

We carry out work for official bodies, publishers, businesses, associations and voluntary bodies who need to disseminate information to their members or to provide educational materials to schools and universities. There are two main types of service that we offer to third parties:

Developing interactive CD-ROMs: especially those requiring statistics to be presented and manipulated, links to external programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and the inclusion of interactive games. For this work we have developed a number of software tools that make development quicker and cheaper including our Enquiry/Composer Multi-media Development Studio.

Statistical Services for Business: we provide confidential data collection and collation services for businesses, associations and public and voluntary bodies. We also maintain collections of relevant statistics directed to the needs of particular audiences, using print, CD-ROM and Internet media.
