CD-ROM: ICT Investigations in Business and Economics 2002/3

This highly successful CD-ROM, originally developed for the Nuffield A-level Economics and Business course, has now been fully updated (all numerical data to the latest available at Sept. 2002). It is also now available for purchase as a separate product which will make it easy for existing users to update and for others to use it as an ICT resource which can support most A-Level Business and Economics courses. The CD contains a range of investigations including: case studies, spreadsheets, a comprehensive teaching dataset and customisable worksheets.

Database Products by E-mail

Statistics for Education now supply a number of its database products as inexpensive e-mail attachments. The first three database products are UK Economics 2002, British History 1700-1980 and World Development, Europe & USA 2002. The databases can be ordered in Secos format (for those with a license to Secos 4) or as an Excel 97 Workbook file. An e-mail version of our popular Secos 4 data-handling program together with a sample dataset is also now available. The Secos manual can be purchased separately.

A hands on guide to introduce students to using Excel for data handling within History is now supplied with the History dataset.
